The terminal calls the Mainstreet gateway over its existing network connection. One pairing request returns an API key — no new hardware, no firmware swap.

Send the payment
The terminal requests a charge. The gateway builds the Solana transaction, the customer's wallet signs it, and the signature hits the wire.
- 03Waiting
Settle on-chain
The gateway wires the transaction to Solana, confirms it, and fires a webhook back to the POS. The receipt prints before the card slip would.
